The neat, uptight Felix Ungar and the slobby, easygoing Oscar Madison are recently separated from their wives and move in together. Oscar’s laid-back attitude drives the neurotic Felix crazy, while Felix’s obsessive cleanliness irritates Oscar. Their constant bickering leads to hilarious situations and ultimately reveals the challenges of friendship and compromise. Despite their differences, the two men learn valuable lessons about themselves and each other. The play humorously explores male relationships and the struggles of adjusting to unexpected life changes.
